It gets really annoying that one cannot host their own server and people are constantly making their own, which is part of the fun. However, even if persistent, BF servers should take into consideration that a lot of these servers go unfilled for days at a time. There should be a count that after 24 hours, even if persistent, the server should collapse a dead instance. When I create a server for personal creativity, I will take it down when my people are finished playing in it. This Global Game Quota Exceeded error should not be happening all the time. I search through hundreds of servers, even for ones that would otherwise match mine, and many of them lay dormant with no one in them. I can't even host my own server using someone else's code because too many are filling the DICE servers. Please, find a method to trim the amount of dead servers.
This coupled with the fact that many low population (1-6 players + bots) server hosts are banning players before they can even fully load in is making custom servers unplayable all around. Does anyone know if this is being addressed as there are no DEV notes concerning these players automatically banning anyone joining their open servers?
