code:0x1 events 1000, EA Javelin Anticheat

Javelin error 0x1, game exits unexpectedly
All troubleshooting completed
At this point, literally done every standard troubleshooting step:

Visual C redistributables (repaired)
McAfee disabled/dealt with
Game reinstalled (twice)
Files verified
GPU drivers updated
BIOS reset to factory
Secure Boot fixed
Running as administrator
Steam overlays disabled
Caches cleared
events 1000, EA Javelin Anticheat

The game bf6.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x1
the anti cheat keeps the game in suspended state in the task manager not allowing it launch.

SOLVED

I had to uninstall EA Javeline anticheat -delete everything on the computer EA related --EVERYTHING. reinstall bf6. it so happens the anti cheat software if you are not installing the game on your C drive it places a folder on C drive so if you had recently played it -uninstalled it the two anti cheat files have to match -they won't . as uninstalling th egame from your E drive doesn't remove the ani cheat from C so the original authentication files stay. the game was staying in task manager in suspended state on my husband's computer and my computer i have successfully fixed both with this.

1. Close everything

Quit Steam, EA App, Battlefield. Task Manager: End bf6.exe (even Suspended), anything EAAntiCheat, EA Desktop.

2. Uninstall the programs
Steam --> Battlefield 6 --> Uninstall
Settings --> Apps --> uninstall EA App / EA Desktop
Uninstall McAfee if it’s on your PC (use McAfee’s removal tool if Windows leaves leftovers)

3. Uninstall Javelin if the installer is still there
If this file exists, Run as administrator → Uninstall All:
C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe

If that folder is already gone, skip.

4. Reboot

5. Delete leftover folders
Delete these if they still exist:
C:\Program Files\EA\AC C:\Program Files (x86)\EA\AC
C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat
C:\ProgramData\EAAntiCheat
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop
C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop
C:\Program Files\McAfee
C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee C:\ProgramData\McAfee

Search This PC for EAAntiCheat. Delete every hit except a different EA game you still play.

Admin Command Prompt:

bat

sc query EAAntiCheatService

You want 1060 (service does not exist). If it still exists:

bat

sc stop EAAntiCheatService sc delete EAAntiCheatService

Reboot again.

6. Defender exclusions (before you reinstall)

Windows Security --> Virus & threat protection-->Manage settings-->Exclusions --> Add folder:

The Steam folder where BF6 will live

After install, also C:\Program Files\EA\AC

Not ideal to have to go through all of that, but thank you for posting the steps that helped you. Much appreciated. EA_Barry.
