Can't connect to the game, everytime I get past the queue, I get this error message

Could you please assist me with an issue I’ve been having since October 10th? I’ve reinstalled the game twice on Steam and tried unchecking the DLC as shown, but the problem still persists. It’s now October 12th, there are 700k players online, but I still can’t join. Please advise how I can resolve the problem I’m facing.

The good news: this issue is already being addressed; an EA representative already responded to a similar thread, and they're investigating the problem.
The bad news: there's still no clear solution. Some people found that disconnecting USB devices helped, while others found that using a VPN like WARP helped. Someone else unlinked and relinked their Steam account to their EA profile, and it worked. I've tried all of these methods, and many more besides: reinstalling the game on Steam, disabling all overlays (Steam, EA, Nvidia), disabling some DLC, connecting via Wi-Fi, cable, mobile hotspot, closing all background programs, and so on.
So, I have no choice but to wait for a solution from EA or demand a refund.
