Constant network issues ONLY when on this game

Since the day this game came out, I've been combatting non-stop networking issues and I'm at my wits end. I've troubleshot every single thing I can come up with, I've brought my ISP out to my house nearly 10 times; they've even brought out their lineman to ensure my drop isn't the issue - no dice.

Here's my details:

  • EA ID: Rblhunter1
  • Steam ID: 76561198046961236
  • Platform: PC - Steam
  • Which console generation do you have? (NA if on PC) NA
  • What is your Gamertag/PSN ID? Turbo Granny
  • Date/time issue occurred? Constantly - latest session ended at ~5:30PM CDT on 10/29/2025
  • What type of issue do you have? Server connection issues, Lag/Latency, etc Lag, latency, packet loss, server disconnection / connection issues
Summarize your bug: Be as specific as you can
    • Network issues that are only happening when I am playing Battlefield 6. Game mode doesn't matter. I've never been disconnected while sitting in the lobby, I have been full-on disconnected while sitting in games. Every single game I experience at a minimum - packet loss, which leads to rubber-banding.
  • In which mode and or map has this happened?
    • All. I only play on official EA servers.
  • ISP name: Cox communications
  • Your Current Region: I am in central to the US.

Here's what I'm seeing:

While in any match, I'll see the in-game network monitor see my network transmissions drop to KB of speeds. While at the same time, I can run a simple ping test to Google (8.8.8.8) and see zero packet loss and very little latency.

Running a network speed test through https://speed.cloudflare.com  to Kansas City, KS I am seeing:

  •  network speeds of 255Mbps down / 117Mbps up
  • Average latency of ~28ms
  • 0% packet loss.

Directly on my router, I can run a live throughput speed test between it and my ISP:

  • Network speeds of 808Mbps down / 108Mbps up
  • Average latency of ~34ms
  • 0% packet loss

Lastly, I've seen EA attempt to claim DNS as an issue.
On my internal network DNS is set in the following order:

  1. 8.8.8.8 (Google primary)
  2. 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare primary)
  3. 8.8.4.4 (Google secondary)
  4. 1.0.0.1 (Cloudflare secondary)

My ISP isn't going to come out again. The issue is between me and EA and I need some help getting this fixed. Also, if someone could point me in the direction on how to read the jumbled-mess of "Network graphs" that can be enabled in game - I can likely provide information there as well.
