Controller aim assist majorly nerfed

Question

I play controller on PC. After the Nov 18th patch, aiming is extremely rough. I'm always overshooting my targets, left right left right. Too much acceleration. The old aim assist slowdown is completely gone. Not sure if it's a bug or intentional.

I play other shooters too. Halo, Apex, CoD, and all have consistent aim assist. Why remove aim assist from this game? It's still there a bit at close range (10m) but I don't notice it anymore at 20m. Anyone who plays sniper or with assault rifles on controller is hopeless now. I'm so sad.

Aim assist was way to op for veteran controller players, that can control recoil much easier then others. Get good scrub

Aim assist needs to stay effective only within 50 meters. Under no circumstances should you be able to hold the right trigger and lock onto a player’s position from 100 meters away or farther without even seeing the enemy.

funny you say get good but also complain about people who aims with a literal stick. Get good instead of crying about it lol

I feel the aim in this game with a controller is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes i'll have to move the stick more or less than i would for no reason or the camera freaks out when zooming in and messes up your input by moving randomly, it's so weird.
