EA account won't let me unlink rogue steam account

Hi

EA Account is saying that a Steam account is linked, that I haven't personally used. Don't understand what is going on but it won't let me unlink it as everytime I try nothing happens. Most help pages via EA come up with internal server error. I'm at a loss with how to fix this now as I've purchased game on Steam and can't link my own account!
