  • Hey xPixelFever

I have moved your post from Polish Forums to English EA Forums, since this is the language you've posted in.

I know you've tried reinstalling EA Javelin; however, let's try completely removing it from your PC and reinstalling it. Essentially, we'd like to perform a "clean install".

How to install and troubleshoot EA Javelin anticheat on PC

The issue might also be caused by one of the applications below, which are installed on your PC:

    • AutoHotkey
    • DS4Windows
    • iCUE
    • JoyToKey
    • Keys2XInput
    • Reshade
    • Windhawk
    • MSI Gaming Intelligence
    • Steelseries GG
    • Daemon Tools
    • THX Spatial
    • AntimicroX
    • Wireshark
    • Avast

I am having the exact same issue, but without using steam at all. I already tried everything multiple times and by now everything seems like you guys just broke your anti cheat with the newest patch. So please fix your game or provide atleast a working solution

    Hey tchai_TR

Sorry to hear that there's been difficulty logging in to Battlefield 6 the past couple of days.

Does the game eventually crash after reaching that screen, or does it just stay there indefinitely? Are you seeing any error messages? Generally speaking, if you haven't already, please try the troubleshooting steps below:

    • Verify game files on Steam
    • Close Steam, EA App, and quit all EA-related background services in Task Manager before restarting your PC. Then open EA App first before trying to launch the game through Steam
    • Uninstall and reinstall EA Javelin anticheat
    • Disable overlays and potentially conflicting software
    • Make sure Windows is updated
    • Run Steam and the EA App as administrator
    • Add BF6 files as exceptions to antivirus programs

Let us know how it goes, thanks!

Hello everyone, I haven't been able to log into the game for a few days. Even though I click ‘Launch Game’ on Steam, it just keeps loading for 1–2 minutes and then freezes like that. The ‘Play’ button becomes active again, so it seems there’s an issue with logging into the game. I’ve tried loads of times but I just can’t get into the game. Does anyone know the solution? What’s causing this?

You should not have to severely lower your security just to get the game to work. It's good to know when hunting down the issue, but that's unacceptable as a long-term fix. Dice needs to figure this one out ASAP for sure.

If Battlefield keeps crashing or won’t launch, disabling several Exploit Protection settings specifically for BF6.exe in Windows Security fixed it for me. After turning off CFG, DEP, ASLR, and SEHOP, the game started working normally. Looks like the anti-cheat has issues with older Microsoft Defender builds, like the ones on my Windows 10

  • I have been struggling with joining any game. I get the map splash/loading screen but about halfway through loading, it kicks me to the main menu with the timed out error.

I have repaired files, reinstalled, checked my network for packet loss, disabled overlays, repaired anticheat, updated drivers.

Not sure what is going on and any help is appreciated.

    Other things to try-

Install the May updates, they have a patch (secure boot certificate) that might help.

Update all your drivers\ software... my mouse software (Corsair iCUE) was out of date, that stopped the game loading.

Turn off MS Defender Firewall if you are using that... this caused my game to crash after about 10 minutes of play.

If it's not that, it'll be a Steam issue.

  • Last time I played was in november and everything worked perfectly then. I tried to get back into the game a couple of days ago but couldn't get past the splash screen despite trying nearly 15 different solutions like doing everything possible with the anticheat installer for example.

I decided to check my bios to confirm that secure boot really was enabled but when I tried to restart I started getting a secure boot violation message on startup so had to turn it off.

Kinda sucks that I can't play a game I paid a lot of money for anymore

    Windows 11 and steam btw

This is exactly the same issue that I am having,  I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game and Javelin Anti-cheat manually.

The only difference I am having now is that I don't even get the Javelin Anti-Cheat Splash screen to appear, I click on "Play" in steam it changes to "Stop" then almost immediately changes to "Play" again...

Everything was fine until Season 3 started and then with that update I gradually had issues starting the game until it got to the point I am at now...

    Hello Support Team,

I am having an issue launching Battlefield 6 on PC.

When I start the game through Steam, the AntiCheat window opens normally and shows the message “Launching Game”, but after that nothing happens. The window closes and the game never starts.

I have already tried the following steps:

     1. Restarted my PC

     2. Logged out and back into both Steam and EA App

     3. Launched both Steam and EA App as Administrator

    4. Checked that my EA account is linked to Steam

    Unfortunately, the problem still remains.

I also noticed something unusual: on my linked EA App account, Battlefield 6 does not appear in my game library. I only see Battlefield TM, and EA App offers me to install it separately. I am not sure if this account/library issue may be related to the launch problem.

Could you please help me investigate this issue and advise what I should do next?

    Thank you.
