Game Crashes in REDSEC Ranked
Game crashes consistently with the DirectX error. I have lost over 600 RP in the past 4 days trying to fix this issue. The game will load up and I will start a game of Ranked REDSEC. I will choose my class and the second the match shows us above the helicopter before we drop, it crashes.
I have done everything suggested from EA Forums, Steam, Youtube, Google, ChatGPT, and even Reddit. I also reached out to Microcenter to find a solution with no luck. I have reinstalled BF6, verified game files, reinstalled drivers, changed BF6 settings, changed, PC settings, underclocked my PC, changed performance settings, graphics settings, changed NVIDIA App settings... Nothing works.

Please help...
Hey, folks
Thanks to everyone who has been sharing details and testing different things. A few players have reported some success with the following steps:
- Verify the Battlefield 6 game files through Steam. Steam downloaded roughly 80 MB of corrupted or missing files, and the issue stopped occurring afterward.
- Delete the local shader cache files located in the Battlefield 6 cache folder - "%localappdata%\Battlefield 6\cache".
- Roll back NVIDIA drivers to version 596.49 using a clean driver installation after removing the current driver with DDU.
Appreciate everyone posting their results and following up with what did and did not help. The more information players can share about what changed before the crashes started and which steps helped, the easier it is to compare notes and spot common patterns.
Thanks
