Horrible Performance After Update

The 12/9 update completely broke my game again in a way that seems unique to me. I bought the game a couple months ago and played it perfect for a month no problems. Then i upgraded from a ryzen 5500 to a 5900x and it broke my game again (every 20 seconds i drop to 1 fps for a few seconds, much worse around enemies). I reinstalled windows, reformatted my drives, changed every setting imaginable, the only thing that fixed it was setting my ram profile to auto which sucks. Ive been playing for a month like that no issues. Now after the 12/9 update im getting the same horrible network errors/spikes and i cant get rid of them now. My power plans are fixed, no cooling or power issues i could see. I still run warzone perfect. Ive spent a ridiculous amount of time just to make this game work, i learned my lesson with this awful company. Specs Ryzen 5900x, zotac gaming 3060 12gb vram, 32gb ddr4 (2x16gb gskil 3200mhz), evea 650w psu, brand new hyper 212 cooler and case fan, micro atx mobo. This PC has no cooling/power issues. I get network errors while it happens

Enabling my auto XMP profile made the spikes once every 5 min instead of every 30 seconds but before this update it fixed them completely. Havnt seen them for weeks now i get multiple a game and generally the network icons just stay on my screen

It also wont work unless i make a User.cfg file parking it on half my cores and processors. If i try to run on all 12 the spikes are constant

9e6935d4069386f2 the lag seem more of a low fps issue than a network issue.

Try disabling Simulations Multithreading (SMT) in motherboard BIOS and also remove the user.cfg.

This should lower memory latency on the dual CCD Ryzen 9 5900x CPU.

Having two CCDs can improve multi-core performance but sometimes introduces complexities for gaming due to potential latency between the two CCD dies.

If I don't reply to your post then personal message me. Sometimes the forum fails to notify me when someone replies.

  • update guys i set “remember this is a game” in game bar and i just went an hour with no cpu spikes as opposed to every few minutes. Only have to do it on bf6 like my 20 other tweaks so i wouldnt call this a solution. Itll be broken worse next update

  • Spikes came back every game again today. Set XMP profile BACK TO AUTO and somehow that fixed it again. Get your crap together ea, i have no problem with any other game
