The Windows Event Viewer Shows the Faulting Module: msvcp12.dll
msvcp12.dll is a part of Microsoft Visual C++ Package
1: re-install VC_redist to ensure it's not due to VC_redist corruption
Download and install the latest version from Microsoft
If available install both versions.
VC_redistx64
VC_redistx86
Once this is done, feel free to restart the computer and try launch Battlefield 6 again.
If that doesn't work, Penguin would at this point:
2: Repair EA AntiCheat: Go to Battlefield 6 folder, there you find EAAnticheat folder with EAAntiCheat.installer.
By launching EAantiCheat.Installer it will provide you with the repair function for EAaAnticheat.
3: For Windows Image Health, Make sure to run CMD as administrator and perform these 2 commands separately:
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
sfc/scannow
This will scan for corrupted Windows System Image files and replace any potential corrupted files.
