Long load times/Random Time-Outs/Steam/WIN11

I have NEVER purchased a game on a different loader in the past (EX. Call of Duty/BattleNet, Fortnite/Epic Games Launcher, etc.). That being said, for some reason, I decided to purchase BF6 on Steam this go around. Generally speaking, I've had horrible experiences with host application server issues (EX. running CoD on BattleNet and not Steam/Game Pass) which is why I decided to go for Steam on a game I was highly anticipating. For some reason, the load times are absolutely GARBAGE. I have timed it many times, it usually takes anywhere from 2.5 minutes to 6 minutes just to get past the LOADING SCREEN. It gets incredibly frustrating when it takes 6 minutes to load into a game that's already half-way over or more, just to spend another 4 minutes to get into another game meanwhile the XP tokens are burning away to ash. Not to mention, many times, it will TIME OUT without any error codes and just take me back to the menu. Oh, and by the way, If I DO get lucky and get into a match, NO player models render in for the first 30-45 seconds so i get to run around and try shooting at red dots. I've attached photos of my hardware (the only thing not listed is my GeForce RTX 4060TI with 12GB internal RAM) as well as the dreaded time-out screen I've seen too many times. Before you come for me, I'm using an ethernet cable that never drops below 500MBPS so don't even try connection speed/strength.

  • Same thing for me. I’m running a 9800X3D with a 9070XT. Bought game from Steam. Maybe I should have bought from EA?

It's absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully it's just something can be updated out either through steam itself or the game.

Found out it was my SSD. I was running a SP UD90 2TB. Seems like this SSD is having lots of compatibility issues with BF6. Luckily I switched my SSD and it’s running smooth!
