Just popped out shopping. Left the house on like 5,780 RP, came back, played a game, gained 80 RP but now I'm down to 5,570 RP.
Played another game, stick on loading screen, lost another 50 RP.
This isn't a one off, I lost 400 RP the other day when I came out of a (bad) game 6 RP up.
Every time I get halfway to Platinum 2 I'm back down in Gold 5.
Seriously annoyed. Sort your game out!
I am facing the exact same absurd bug today, and it is completely breaking the ranked experience. In my case, I was only 87 RP away from reaching Gold rank. After losing a match in Silver, the game was supposed to deduct the standard -30 RP entry fee. Instead, it randomly wiped out 90 RP for no reason at all! My entire squad stayed until the very end, so there were zero penalties or disconnects involved. I have already opened a official support ticket (#252807665) and created a separate forum post about this, but getting generic canned responses while the system randomly steals hundreds of hard-earned points is unacceptable. How are players expected to grind competitive mode when the server can arbitrarily penalize you with 3x higher losses whenever it feels like it? Grinding Ranked is becoming completely pointless. EA/DICE need to acknowledge this game-breaking calculation issue and fix it immediately!
