Matchmaking send back to Menu

true but maybe network issues are just harder to fix / find a solution for. All we can hope for is they actually are looking into it and not putting all their focus on new content. 

I don’t think it will be a driver issue tbh. Many of us are experiencing the same problem on console. I’m really disliking the lack of communication we are getting with this issue tbh

I add that the beta ran perfectly on this same machine and network if that helps. Maybe something with drivers since there was a 10/14 nvidia driver update?

Issue: Same issue, where the game loads fine but as soon as a match is found in matchmaking, the game goes black for a few seconds before showing the orange Battlefield logo, then returning to the main menu.

Observations: I am running the game on low settings and disabling VSYNC didn’t help. I am well below the max VRAM of my system too in case performance was an issue. 

Changing my network between 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi got me into one night of games a few nights ago and now that doesn’t work either.  

I do have an older modem but it is rated for my speeds and I have successfully played the game some since launch but now I am 100% reproducing the matchmaking error, can’t join any game mode, even after updating drivers, verifying files, disconnecting and reconnecting to my Wi-Fi, and relaunching the game repeatedly. Here are my hardware and software specs to help troubleshooting this issue:  

PC: Windows (bought through Steam) | GPU: NVIDIA 1080Ti (11GBs VRAM) | Current GeForce Driver Installed: Version 581.57 | CPU: Intel i9-10900K @3.7GHz 10 core | RAM: 64GBs | Internal SSD: 2TB Samsung 970 Evo (plenty of space remaining: 507GB)

I am having the same issue as well. Please either fix the issue or refund my $70. It is ridiculous to pay this much for a game that doesn't work.

EA_Pulsar​ would love to know about any updates on this, i quite literally am basically on a new pc, new motherboard, new ram, new cpu, new case new everything except the gpu, and the first time i launch the game and click play the exact same thing happened, i search for a match, it looks likes its loading me in, blackscreen for 3-5 secs, then i get sent back to the menu like always. I just hope the team is at least working on it and am hoping for an update soon : D

I appreciate people trying to provide a temporary solution, however, a vpn shouldn’t be required to play a game. Cmon EA, we’re waiting on this fix to be found 🙏
