Issue: Same issue, where the game loads fine but as soon as a match is found in matchmaking, the game goes black for a few seconds before showing the orange Battlefield logo, then returning to the main menu.
Observations: I am running the game on low settings and disabling VSYNC didn’t help. I am well below the max VRAM of my system too in case performance was an issue.
Changing my network between 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi got me into one night of games a few nights ago and now that doesn’t work either.
I do have an older modem but it is rated for my speeds and I have successfully played the game some since launch but now I am 100% reproducing the matchmaking error, can’t join any game mode, even after updating drivers, verifying files, disconnecting and reconnecting to my Wi-Fi, and relaunching the game repeatedly. Here are my hardware and software specs to help troubleshooting this issue:
