Ongoing performance issues since the winter Update, please help

PC, Most of my hardware is recommended specs with the exception of my CPU which is above recommended spec's

Issues

low framerate warning regardless of the in game auto settings or the lowest custom settings through the Nvidia app. (which has me reminiscing about BF3)

Stuttering which increases with movement speed (vehicles get extremely bad)

a movement issue that feels like excessive momentum. even with my hands off the KB i keep moving in the direction i was headed for an extended period. I'm falling off things due to this.

another movement issue that feels like there is a invisible wall present for a short period of time preventing me from changing direction when running or sprinting. tied to this is also the inability to go through door ways (they seem to be closed even when no door exists), or use ladders (i just run through them, it takes a few tries before i can climb it)

when i see someone move in front of me and i try to shoot, I'm usually dead before i can even pull the trigger. its like everything i do has a delay to it.

bad map files causing crash to desktop (i know how to fix this one, just annoyed that i have to do it again)

Things I've tried

EA help...... ultimately useless and frustrating getting treated like a hot potato. but not to worry because they have "logged and reported my issues, and there is no need to get back to them" (except they never actually solved the issue....)

updated vid driver, reinstalled vid driver

checked for windows updates (none available)

repaired the game files multiple times

tried multiple video settings

My home network seems fine, no issues with any other devices, apps, programs, games, ect. multiple speed tests all come back with good speed.

Gave up and didn't play for several days hoping for an update that would solve the issues..... nope

VikingHoarder if a memory upgrade isn't possible. Go into BF6 advanced graphics settings and limit the framerate to 30fps. This should prevent network lag.

VikingHoarder I should also mention that you should buy memory that's listed in the motherboard's qualified vendors list (QVL).

The motherboard should have the manufacturer and model number printed on it. With that information we can go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and lookup the memory QVL list.

Buying memory that's on the QVL list ensures maximum compatibility because the motherboard manufacturer has tested and tuned all the memory on the QVL list for that motherboard.

This ensures maximum memory performance and prevents crash errors such as 'GPU removed' and blue screen of death from occuring.

VikingHoarder thank you for posting the HWiNFO screenshot.

The DDR4 memory is in single channel mode, instead of dual channel mode. This is limiting CPU performance because single channel mode has half the memory bandwidth compared to dual channel mode.

Two memory sticks are required for dual channel memory mode to work. The memory sticks also have to be installed in the proper memory slots on the motherboard.

The Samsung M378A2G43AB3-CWE memory currently installed in your motherboard doesn't have good memory timings. It has a tCL memory timing of 21.

High performance DDR4 3200MHz memory has a tCL timing of 16.

Keep in mind the Intel H470 chipset on your motherboard limits memory overclocking to 2933MHz. So even if you purchase 3200MHz memory it will only run at 2933MHz with XMP memory overclocking enabled in motherboard BIOS settings.

I make no guarantees your PC will be able to play BF6 at 60fps, but your PC should be able to play BF6 at 60fps if a dual channel memory kit is installed with DDR4 3200MHz CL 16. The kit will comes with two identical memory sticks.

VikingHoarder thank you for posting that screenshot.

CPU and SIM framerate is below 60fps. This is what's causing the movement lag. If CPU or SIM drops below 60fps it causes time nudge (TN) to spike to a high number in the Network Performance Graph, which causes lag.

Lets troubleshoot why the CPU and SIM framerate is below 60fps.

Please download HWiNFO and post a screenshot of your System Summary.
