Hi all,
I have bought BF6 on Steam and am unable to boot the game. Every time I load the game, it shows the splash screen and then a black window pops up as though the game is loading. My PC then crashes and is forced to restart and continues without issue until I attempt to boot BF6 again. When crashing the PC shows the following error : "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. Stop code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0xA) What failed: ntoskrnl.exe".
My system specs are;
OS: Windows 11, CPU: i9-13900KF, GPU: 3070TI, RAM: PSU: 1000 Watt NZXT, RAM: Corsair 3600 DDR4 16GB x 2 (32GB Total). Game is installed on an SSD drive.
I have exhausted all troubleshooting options I can think of.
I have tried:
- Ensured all windows drivers up to date
- Reinstalled the game several times.
- Reinstalled the Nvidia drivers several times
- Run an SFC scan and DISM scans with no errors.
- Ran a RAM check with MemTest86, with no errors.
- Disabled all DLC through steam to boot that way.
- Disabled antivirus and firewall to attempt to boot it.
- Created exceptions on Windows Exploit Protection for BF6.exe and EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe.
I have as yet had no luck getting BF6 to load, and quite honestly I am looking at refunding the game now. This is hugely disappointing and any help is appreciated.
