Battlefield 6 freezes after some minutes of game play.
Happens since the last update some days ago.
Also in that time I did an BIOS update (latest Version for MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk). This update explicity mentioned implementation of Anti cheat features. I contacted MSI but their statement is that is most probably is a bug with the Battlefield Anti Cheat software.
After the freeze I can only do a cold boot / start since Windows 11 is not reacting any more.
I already used Steam to check if Battlefield files are corruptes and also used the Javelin installer to repair the Anti cheat software.
According to my internet search a lot of people are facing the same issue after the latest update.
System:
Win 11 64Bit
AMD Ryzen 7 9800 X3D
MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi
Asus RTX 4070TI

I'm having the same issue, usually during Redsec. Maybe not related but, after playing if it doesn't crash, it crashes/ hangs at shutdown.

Win 11 64Bit
AMD Ryzen 7 9800 X3D
ASUS 870E
EVGA 3080 FTW3

Yeap, I have the same issue, also people in the ASUS ROG forums and on Reddit report it too

I made a similar post and also up-voted your post. Here's the reason that BF6 is crashing with x3D CPU's.
The reason your system is "hard freezing" rather than just crashing to desktop is that the Javelin Anti-Cheat is a Ring 0 (kernel-level) driver. On dual CCDs CPUs when the game tries to move a thread from CCD0 to CCD1, the Anti-Cheat's security "hooks" may misinterpret this rapid memory-address shift as an attempt at a "memory injection" cheat. Because it's at the kernel level, its response isn't to close the game, but to halt the entire CPU to "protect" the system, resulting in a frozen screen and OS.
Note: DICE has acknowledged this on their official Trello board as of this morning, stating that a "Hotfix for AMD 9000-series X3D stability" is expected within the next 48 hours.

Still no patch released for this. I'm on Steam and have checked for updates, verified game files, and ran the Javelin update/repair exe file. Has anyone received the update or been able to solve the problem through some other means?

Hi, I’ve merged your post into the existing thread, as this appears to be the same issue. I know this has been very frustrating, and thank you for your patience.
We’ve seen a community workaround that has helped many players get back into the game by enabling the iGPU, and the devs have already been made aware of it.

[iGPU Disabled] → Incomplete driver stack → OS/engine in an unexpected state → Invalid memory access → Hard freeze
[iGPU Enabled] → Complete driver load → SOC power management stabilization → Resource contention resolution → System stability
Is this roughly how the improvement works?

it s the same solution that we know : enable Igpu, but it s not an option for me, we want an official update and fix without enabling Igpu

That's right. No half measures! Get your work done, finally. Even if you have to work all weekend, 24/7. I don't care!
