Thank you for the attempts to assist, but I have tried both BADDSTA and NBAasDOGG's suggestions, and I still experienced the hard crash right around the 15 minute mark.
I first tried NBAasDOGG's steps thouroughly, and played for around 15 minutes and then crashed. My Windows Update had already installed KB5089549 two days ago - so that didn't fix it either.
:(
Try re-install latest gpu drivers. I did that too which clears cache.

Thanks BADDSTA - I tried that several times. Even did it with different branch of driver versions.
problem persists.
I wonder if there are nuances to the workarounds. It appears that for some, brand of motherboard and CPU is determinative in whether the workarounds will have some effect.
Since I am on the AM4 platform, with a 5800 X3D, the IGU option is not available as this chip doesn't support it.
I have an ASUS X570 STRIX-E, with the latest BIOS and AGESA. The usb in BIOS port does nothing.
Not sure where to go from here. :(

You might be being tested, but how about trying to turn off Fast Boot in the BIOS? The POST → ACPI table resets every time, and booting will be a bit slower, but I think it will lead to stable operation. Also, disabling the C-state is another option (although it might increase power consumption slightly).
