SOCIAL MENU - NOT OPENING

Same deal here. Ps5 Battlefield 6 socials is not working. I've done everything twice. No luck playing with my friends om pc

FOR EVERYONE!!! TO MAKE IT WORK JUST MAKE A NEW WINDOWS LOCAL ACCOUNT AND PLAY IT THERE.

Same here on ps5. Also, I am level 0? When was that possible.

I had this issue and restarting, reinstalling, or messing around with the EA app did not help. I was able to fix it by: 
- Launching the game as normal
- when the main menu opened up, I disconnected wifi on my PC and then waited until I got the "network connection failure" message in the game (about a minute). It says you can "Retry" or "Quit", but don't click anything yet. 
- Turned wifi back on, and then clicked "Retry" on the in-game pop-up message. That fixed it - dunno how broadly it will work 

No change on PS5. The menu still won't open. The + button in lobby still does nothing.

Same problem here, @EA please fix ASAP!

I am having the same issues as everyone else here. After a couple days and a mix of all workarounds, was finally able to access social menu using a local windows account. EA really needs to fix this asap, should not have to swap profiles every time i want to play bf6 with my friends.

If you're on PS5, try booting into safemode, then clear system cache, and rebuild the database. 

1. Turn off your PS5 – Press and hold the power button until the system beeps and the light turns off completely.

2. Press and hold the power button again – Keep holding it until you hear two beeps:

One beep when you first press it.

A second beep about 7 seconds later.

3. Connect your controller to the PS5 using a USB cable.

4. Press the PS button on the controller.

Your PS5 will now start in Safe Mode.

This worked for me, hopefully this helps someone as well!

I'm joining the list of people with this problem

The social menu doesn't open. And the preview images in the menu aren't displayed.

What also surprises me is that I bought both BF2042 and BF6 on Steam, but only BF2042 is shown in the EA app. (Yes, the accounts are linked)

I've tried all the possible tips:

It's not due to the network,

firewall, or ad blocker.

Repaired BF6 and the EA app.

Uninstalled BF2042.

Deleted all cache directories.

Nothing has worked.

By the way, BF2042 works perfectly fine. Creating a new user profile is absolutely unacceptable for me.

EA, PLEASE fix this.
