Trying to select Campaign difficulty or start the first mission causes BF6 to freeze and then crash with no error code or other indication of a problem. Friends tell me a new instance should open when to play the single player but it never appears for me. I've tried reinstalling the game twice to no avail. Anyone have a solution to this problem? I am playing on Steam.
Buying the Phantom Edition and not being able to play the campaign hurts a bit. Tried every fix I could find, and nothing has worked. here for a hopeful fix

Yep, nothing has worked for me. Now 5 days in. Have yet to be able to play campaign.
I tried this for an unrelated problem and I'm still having the same issues when it comes to starting the Campaign. I've also tried multiple fresh installs, deleting the markers in the Steam DLC section, turning off Steam overlay and disabling VSync
Update today fixed this for me.
That is a WiLD suggestion and should be an absolute last resort.
