Have now spoken to my 9th live agent and again had nothing to say other than being sorry that it's happening.
Was so hyped for this weekend with all my buddies and now its almost over and I havent even been able to play or gotten any updates lol. Fun stuff - TheAgonistxXx3 months agoNew Scout

i am having the same issue and kept getting passed around was finally just told they are aware of the issue and working on it and to wait for it to be fixed and to check ingame updates on status of fix. if i could check ingame updates i wouldn't need to because the game would be working this is ridiculous
I'm having the same issue – I managed to play for about 20 minutes. But the main point is that this started for me a year ago with the previous game, Battlefield 2042, and I already suffered from this problem during the Battlefield 6 beta. I've already optimized my modem to the maximum extent possible and even purchased a dedicated static IP address. I've tried absolutely everything, but there's been zero improvement. Using scripts, I was able to determine that the connection loss is happening on EA's servers.

I was able to play one game on launch day. I updated my profile name waiting to group up with friends and have been receiving the unknown error with the same error code any time I try to play after it shows the server queue.
Tried uninstalling reinstalling and any other suggestions to fix issue. My downloaded EA data has status reason "BANNED_ACCOUNT_TAKEOVER" but when finally got through to EA support they show no bans or penalties or any issues with my account.
Spent most of Friday night and Saturday trying to get an answer or solution through EA support but they were not able to provide any reason or way to fix issue. The closest reason they found was the following.
"The error code 1:86001S:51009S likely indicates a failed account authentication handshake between the EA app and the game, often related to an improperly linked or misidentified EA account. This can happen even after reinstalling because the core account data is stored on EA's servers, no on your PC."
They said the only thing I could do is wait a while and see if it works later but with no timeline and not seeing this issue as a listed known issue being worked on that's frustrating having no idea if or when this will get fixed.

luckily for us, they're keeping the support twitter up to date with game balance changes!
