ye i tried it now i need to try to get support to bypass the unlink cooldown

So i contacted support once more to try to get my account unlinked i followed the steps in here aaaaaand he was unable to unlink it. Its so funny EA actually doesn't care about this

Can't I just Unlink the account from the settings without doing all that

You can but one "solution" to fix the error was to relink your account and if you did that you now have to wait 6 months till you can unlink it again... or well if support feels like it or you actually get someone with authority they can do it for you as well

you can scroll down to account support and after you clicked that you can scroll all the way down to contact support

On PS5. Haven’t been able to play since the 10th. Out of nowhere yesterday I was able to play for the first time since launch. Now today the error is back. Chat has not been able to help. I would rather not get rid of a 17 year old account because they can’t fix the problem on their end. They haven’t even acknowledge that it’s an account issue. This is extremely frustrating. I am level 12 on multiplayer with trophies and the last time I contacted chat they claim I don’t own the game.

EA are dug in hard to avoid addressing this issue. I’ve been hitting up their support teams near-daily, and through a bit of feigned ignorance you can catch them out a bit. It seems they’re aware of this issue and claim it’s a top priority to resolve. They’ve acknowledged there’s a sync issue between the EA App and their online account system.
But as soon as you try to drill in - they ice you.
Sounds like the front line staff are having a rough time dealing with all the reports, while the supervisors and executives calmly push the this off as long as possible (at this rate, it could be something they just don’t fix)
I recommend pursuing a refund and moving onto the next game, unfortunately :(

Name change did not work for me. Only been able to I was able to play without the error twice so far since the 10th.
