Steam update stuck, won't launch game despite playing it day after launch.

I had logged in to Battlefield 6 on 10/11 to play and finish the campaign, which I did. I tried to log in today (10/12) to start multiplayer, but Steam had what looked like a small 512b update, but when I try to download it, it tells me the game is not released yet, and cancels the update. It doesn't do this for any other games on Steam, and it doesn't make any sense because I had previously played the game before. I tried validating the games files, but no luck there. Now I'm missing out on the amazing multiplayer that everyone else gets to play but not me.

Also, any and all attempts to get EA support to help directly with this has been for nothing because the Help website doesn't give the option to actually submit the case or chat with anyone.

EDIT: Figured it out! On the game's Steam properties, go to the DLC tab and uncheck the multiplayer marker and the multiplayer HD marker, that fixed it immediately, and doesn't seem to affect the game at all. Very weird for that to have caused all this though, EA should still notice this and run a fix for it.
