Hi all,

I’ve been experiencing a serious issue with both Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield 6 where the game crashes out of nowhere with no warning or error messages from either EA or Steam.

A friend suggested I use Windows Event Viewer to try and gather some details, and I’ve attached screenshots of the only information I was able to find.

These crashes are completely fatal — I lose all progress every time, which makes the games nearly unplayable. I’ve already followed all troubleshooting steps listed on the EA website, and with the help of a friend who works professionally in IT, I’ve gone through extensive advanced troubleshooting as well:

Running as Administrator

Repairing the game

Repairing EA Anti-Cheat

Reinstalling BF2042, BF6, and EA Anti-Cheat

Performing a Clean Boot

Fresh Windows install (complete system wipe)

Clean install of NVIDIA drivers

DNS setting changes

Adjusting Antivirus and Firewall settings

Resizable BAR settings

BIOS configuration

Compatibility settings

Windows Power settings

NVIDIA Control Panel adjustments

Overlay settings

I’ve tried everything I can find, but this persistent issue continues with no improvement. I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with how unstable the game has been for me.

Please, EA, I need urgent help or acknowledgment that this issue is being investigated. These crashes are making the game unplayable, and I know I can’t be the only one affected.
