VRAM Leak still persists after S1 update

I was hoping to see the huge VRAM Leak issue solved in the latest patch (1.1.1.0) since it severely disrupts my experience...

I don't think the problem needs further explaination but here it is: I start with 80-110fps at Overkill preset (and/or High-Ultra textures to mitigate the problem), 1440p and DLSS Quality, and the performance start to degrade from the end of the first Conquest round and the biginning of the next one, until it becomes basically unplayable with 35-50fps and a lot of input lag. I've noticed that the VRAM usage starts at about 8-9GB and reaches 14-15GB at the end of the match and it doesn't even try to refresh, even when I go back to the menu it still doesn't free some of it up. Only restarting the game and putting the textures on Ultra mitigates the issue (well, it only takes a few more rounds...), modulating DLSS and/or other settings didn't seem to make a remarkable difference.

Setup: watercooled 5800X3D, 32GB RAM 3200Mhz, 3080 10G, the game is on a SATA Crucial SSD, no temps problem whatsoever

  • PS. The beta has been perfect for me, it ran butter-smooth with great FPS. I'm currently on the Nvidia driver 581.57, chipset drivers and bios are both up to date.
