Wasted XP boosts from phantom edition purchase

I purchased the phantom edition specifically for the XP boosts because I'm a father of two small kids and work full-time so I have a very limited amount of time to play games. I played bf6 for a couple hours last night after the family went to bed and at the end of my session I finally noticed the XP boosts packs. So I quickly clicked them all to activate so that the next time I played I would get my double XP. When I turned the game on today I noticed that there were no XP boosts active. Come to find out the XP boosts run in "real time" and just ran out even though I literally turned the game off and went to sleep right after activating. This is absolutely ridiculous and borderline preditory. Seems like I should be refunded for this.
