Battlefield 1 can't connect to EA online

Question

What it says in the title. I got BF1 through Steam and had been unable to get online. The campaign mode works just fine. Any other EA game works just fine, I got Battlefront 2 and BF4 through Steam and BF3 though EA, no connection problems in any of those. I can take a look at the active BF1 servers through the BF4 menu but only BF1 has issues getting online.

I've already tried every single solution in this post and none worked.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with my router or my PC because I've already tried logging in my account in a friend's PC (that can play BF1 online) and the problem appeared there too, only when I try to play from my account.

And no, the EA connection troublesooting webpage didn't helped

Then you should talk to EA support, they should be able to assist you with the issue in more detail.

I did already and it just keeps redirecting me to the same article that has been totally useless for my problem.
