Battlefield 1 Constantly Crashes

Event viewer log in the screenshot.

When I'm playing battlefield 1, occasionally the game will freeze for a second, but the audio will continue playing, then the game will crash. What's weird is that before my whole computer used to crash but now it is only limited to the game itself. Battlefield 1 is the only game that has this issue, every other game that I play has no crashing of any kind.

I searched the faulting path, and it says to reinstall drivers which I did and it didn't fix the issue. I have tried various other things such as; setting compatibility on the exe to windows 8, running as administrator, clean installing Nvidia drivers, both dx 11 and dx 12, repairing the anti-cheat, verifying integrity of files, setting tdrlevel to 3, and changing the MachineGuid value, none of which worked.

I have a Nvidia 4080, an Intel i7, and windows 11 OS.

  • Hello zzzzEliaszzzz,

As you have done almost everything that I would usually recommend, the only other thing I can recommend is that you try reinstalling your game on a different drive.

If the issue still remains after that, you should try talking with EA support.

I just tried this and the game will still crash with the same error. I installed the game on flash drive but I am not sure if it would be different if I were to try a hard drive/SSD. I'm just assuming I would have the same problem.

Then you should try talking with EA support. I could recommend more radical measures, but you should try your luck with support first.
