Battlefield V Stuck After 'Press A to Start'

Question

My friend is stuck in Battlefield V on Xbox. The game launches fine, he presses A to start, picks his profile (Faze Omega), and then the game freezes on the loading screen with the marine looking over his shoulder. The background music still plays, but it never gets to the menu. We’ve already tried clearing alternate MAC address, full power cycle, clearing persistent storage, deleting local save data, switching to a mobile hotspot, reinstalling the game, playing offline, resetting the router, and changing DNS. We also tested with another Xbox profile, and that one works fine. So we think the problem is with the EA account linked to Faze Omega. Is there a way to force a new EA login, unlink the account, or reset the session? Any help would be appreciated.

sorry meant to say as well that the other profiles didnt work either its something wrong with the game as the EA assistant i talked to said we've tried everything including clearing all the saved data and nothing worked once we tried clearing the save data it took him into that tutorial mission you usually play and then we tried quitting it and took him back to the actual menu and he cicked update as the update in the game menu finished it took him back to the game screen where it says "Press A to start as Faze Omega" And it did the same glitched menu screen and it didnt load him back into the actual game menu
