How do you create a player and edit player ratings? I know you can’t edit NIL players due to copyrights but in dynasty you should be able to edit the guys you recruit

Dynasty mode should be customization at will. It is good we can edit generated players names, height/weight and gear, but we need the full package such as ratings, jersey #, skin tone/hair style and color. Leaving it up to EA they cannot put up realistic recruits. Why do black guys have white guy hair, why are the demographics at certain positions unrealistic (cornerback mainly). Give us the full ability to edit our offline dynasty. I understand the issue with real NIL players but offline dynasty should be a sandbox experience for generated players. Also give us the ability to play any game we want in dynasty. This shouldn’t be rocket science and you know the community wants this accessibility.cmon EA, Fix dynasty!

How can the dynasty be so flawed? It’s literally the crown jewel of the game. 4 and 5 stars not getting offers, the sim logic in dynasty completely broken, not editing incoming recruits. This was a multi year build. How did anyone not play through Dynasty and see this stuff going on

I think the fact that true player editing is not available in the game has people willing to make compromises that we shouldn't have to make. The reason this whole thing started in the past was because the players weren't paid and EA were putting models in the games that were a reasonable facsimile to those players. Also those rosters were shareable across the community.Fast forward some 11 years from the last release, the players are paid. Now maybe there is some agreement in their contract that prohibits EA from allowing us to edit them but, if that's the case, why wouldn't EA just divulge that in the dynasty reveal (we all know that it's because it might hurt sales). Also the rosters are now local to our consoles or only in online dynasties that are essentially locked by the commissioner. What is most perplexing about this whole thing is the fact that if the players are getting paid and you have the permission to use their likeness, how is this game now any different from Madden? In Madden the players appear under a collective agreement with the NFLPA, but you can edit everything on those players...name, height, weight, appearance, age, ratings, abilities, etc. If you choose to, you can make an entire fictional league with Madden. To think that a game that only has 4 years (5 if you include redshirts) of licensed players being completely blocked off creatively from the player from that point forward with really weird roster makeups and player design decisions, it's simply maddening.I hate that I spent my money on something that I'm clearly not willing to play in it's current state (editing is an enormous problem but it's in a photo finish with sim stats right now). Speaking of sim stats, how are they still getting this wrong? They've had sim stat issues in the past with Madden last gen. Anyway I'm just not going to touch the game until the necessary fixes are put in the game. Maybe that's a stupid protest because I've already bought the game, but this way they can't get the satisfaction of of thinking I'm playing the game when I'm really just scrolling through the rosters for hours trying to find the players that I can edit on a team I might want to play with.

Creating an eye sore stemming from the inability to edit player ratings. Everyone is aware and understands not being able to edit NIL players. The issue is that you can’t edit computer generated players or non-NIL players at all in dynasty mode and we seriously hope this can be fixed with an update. However, the one new question I would like to ask is if this editing problem a restriction for the early release that will be rectified when the general happens on the 19th?

if NIL issues are the reason we cant fully customize the recruiting classes then I dont see why we cant edit faces, equipment, rating etc and just not be allowed to change name/hometown or whatever. It's disappointing

EA sports please tell me this is a bug, and a hot fix is coming? So I want to add in the name and update the appearance or a player who I guess didn’t opt-in to be in the game. Example: (Oklahoma 3rd String QB should be Michael Hawkins…he should be black… the number is correct) I can update his name, but not his appearance beyond physique? Should be a True Freshmen… etc…

Why is there an option in the settings to edit players ratings, but it doesn’t even give you the option to do so??? You can’t do it for NIL players or generated recruits. Also why can’t you change numbers and face of recruits?? I had an entire WR recruitment class that didn’t have a single black dude in it which is ridiculous. I was hoping once I recruited a player I’d be able to change their looks or at least number but no! Really breaks the emersion for me

Theirs no reason I shouldn’t be able to edit non nil players in my offline dynasty! We can’t even change their jersey numbers which keeps changing for some reason. I got a WR stuck with 35 and a DB wearing 91… cmon man this makes no sense. We should be able to play with their appearance and ratings. Especially guys we newly recruited in we should have full control over them. Even NIL player’s numbers are changing from one number to the other.

The lack of ability to edit non-NIL players ratings seems petty for the sake of being petty 😂. If I make a fully created school with ALL CREATED PLAYERS..then why would there be a need to restrict rating editing.. PLEASE PATCH 😭.... PRETTY PLEASE 🥹

I know...but that makes it more confusing to why we can't do it in game. Hopefully this is a bug that gets patched. We should be able to edit ratings in game.. for simple fact of user friendliness lol.. I've been editing my team for the last 2 hours like it's 2001🤣
