Simulation games and Top 25 rankings don’t make any sense

Here are a couple of issues I've noticed that I hope are addressed in the next update to enhance realistic dynasty gameplay:

1. **Performance of Top Teams**: Many elite programs, known as the "blue bloods" of college football, are finishing their seasons with mediocre records like 7-5 or 6-6. These teams, loaded with talent and recruiting at the highest levels, are losing random games throughout the season.

2. **Top 25 Rankings**: The top 25 rankings need improvement. I've seen teams with 6-3 or 5-4 records ranked in the top 10, sometimes even in the top 5, which makes no sense. Meanwhile, I'm managing a lower-level school with an 8-2 record, yet 6-6 teams are still ranked in the top 25 simply because they are considered "blue bloods." Teams in the top 5-10 should have 0-1 losses, not 3-4. This lack of realism needs to be addressed in future updates.

  • Testing again with everything on default and this is still just bat-crap crazy the way it determines rankings. I thought it was weird that OSU was ranked #4 with 2 losses, while everyone else in the top 10 has 0 losses (other than Maryland which is 7-2 and is #9 😕) and Oregon being 9-0 is ranked #11 😕. Texas State is 10-0 but is #13 ahead of one-loss Clemson, Illinois, Oklahoma, SMU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Ga. Tech, and Michigan WTF?! I think this problem has actually gotten worse.

  • This is STILL an issue. I've tried to overcome this by setting up my schedule to include as many top 10 teams as possible and removed all teams not at least a 3.5-star. I am 6 weeks into the season, beat #5 Syracuse, #8 USC, and #12 Kansas State, and blew out TA&M who wasn't ranked when we played, but was pre-season #6. But as of now, only 2 are still ranked (8 and 14), yet I dropped in the top 25 to Penn State.  They only beat one ranked team (#12), and their other wins are over a 1-star, 1.5-star, 2.5-star, and two 3.5-star teams. WTF?! As hawksnc10 said above, ea was aware of and working on this a year ago, but here we are. I guess ea just said f it and they'll fix it in cfb26 as a reason to make players buy the new version every year.

  • Any kind of update to this. The rankings are still sill. I have a 4-2 #1 team that is ranked above my 6-0 team and I beat the 4-2 team. The rankings were an issue in the old game but nowhere near as bad as they are in this version.

  • This has been addressed by ea. They are aware and working on it.
