Playcall screen repeatedly freezing

This has been reported before but the discussion was locked. 

You finish a play and the next play call screen pops up. It is frozen. You cannot pick a play or move or make any buttons work except for coach adjustments and even then it gets stuck. You must take a delay of game. 

You can only resolve this by pausing the game. The problem is you only get 2 pauses per half. And this happens repeatedly. I’ve had it happen for weeks maybe months but it’s gotten so much worse. Seems to occur for same console and cross console games equally. 

Semi-related: gameplay has been awfully glitchy. The gameplay sort of sticks every 2-3 seconds  making kicking more difficult than it needs to be and open field tackling impossible.
