Sounds like you been playing Madden for some time too. I miss the years of '05-'10 the most. Around '10 they introduced MUT and basically wound up sacrificing the integrity of the whole rest of game to make it a PvP, cash cow experience. Now here we are, and that's mostly the only thing that comes out relatively polished every year. It's sad we've basically gotten to the point that the whole game doesn't become sustainably playable until basically the year is over and it's time for the next game. I maintain it would be better if they just took a year or two of, but what do I know.
Played madden pc in the early 2000s after YEARS of playing it on Sega Genesis carts, so i've been there since the beginning of customization of helmets, etc.. The biggest tell was when essentially i was forced to buy a second xbox last year just to be able to play my son in a custom dynasty. That's when i realized that EA will find a way to extract money out of thin air for their lords and masters where it never existed prior...
Good old Sega...I miss running with Barry Sanders on Sega. You could literally just hit the spin button the whole way to the end zone practically lol
