Catching/ interceptions

Late to the show… but what happened to open picks? Or open catches in general? 
even pressing triangle, my guys still don’t catch. or the get hit in the back and throw the ball 5 yards backwards. 

are they working on this? It’s crazy how many wide open passes my wr/ running backs drop.

    Meanwhile on defense...

    catch, wide open catch, catch, catch, circus catch, catch, double-coverage catch, catch, catch, catch but out of bounds. Finally! Wait...there's a challenge...catch.
