I’m finished with this game…rant

CFB 26 might be the most disappointing game I’ve ever touched. I went in with high hopes, but I’m done.

Dynasty, RTG, online—it’s all plagued by buggy animations, endless glitches, broken blocking logic, busted coverage AI, dropped passes, stadium pulse gimmicks, missed tackles… the list goes on. It’s one of the hardest games to learn, but for all the wrong reasons.

And as much as I love online competition, wow… the online community is a disaster. I try to play a balanced, conservative style, but every match is the same: the same four busted plays, the same four busted defenses. Zero creativity, zero variety. My hope? Officially gone.

After all this time to fine-tune the game, this is what we get? Just… wow.

I really want to enjoy this game, but it’s made me so frustrated so often that I can’t let it control my emotions anymore. If someone outplays me online, I’m fine with taking the L—shoot, even if it’s a close game, I can accept the loss. But I can’t stand losing because of all the technical glitches.

What’s worse is that, even when I win, I often find myself messaging my opponent just to let them know the game cheated them. And that’s the real problem — when both sides walk away frustrated, the game stops being fun and starts feeling like a broken chore.

  • Yea I already stopped buying madden a few years ago. After this game, I'm not buying college football again unless they have drastic improvements. But its EA. It's going to be the same old engine with new broken mess being put on top of old broken mess. Maybe when the new consoles come out. 🤷‍♂️
