Pls add: formation substitution, pitch invasion, stadium pulse

Formation substitution is very important in the game of football. Whether if it’s on offense or defense, formation substitution is a great strategy for victory. In college you might have a freshman or sophomore athlete that may demand “playing time,” but you might have a junior or senior athlete as the starter at that position. With formation substitutions you can plug in that underclassmen in certain formations which can help satisfy their need for “playing time.” Also formation substitution can help reduce fatigue or “wear & tear” on the starters.

I would like to see a longer sustain stadium pulse.

In college football 25, it seems like once you get a two score lead on your opponent at home, the stadium pulse is reduced dramatically. I understand if the game is a blow out, then the crowd would naturally become less interested.  But for rivalry games and top 25 matches, the stadium pulse should last most longer no matter the score differential.

Maybe it might be asking for too much, but “Pitch invasion” or storming the field would be a great addition to college football 26. Whether if it’s an upset victory from a rival school or top 25 undefeated team, “Pitch invasion” would be an interesting addition to the game.

  • CFB 25 already has formation substitutions. I imagine they will continue to have it in CFB 26.

What I wish we could do is set our formation substitutions and have them ready in online play without having to make the same changes EVERY game.

In Dynasty mode, we don’t have access to formation substitution. If we did it would be under “Team” and between “depth chart” and “view roster.” Please look again to understand.

  • I have to agree. Would really love the optionality and strategy that formation specific roster subs would bring. For example, there are ample times where I want to ensure I have rushing down lineman (or my pass rush OLB) in the game only in dime. Likewise, on offense, there are some formations where it would be awesome to sub certain WR/RBs to exploit mismatches in coverage. This will also allow us to have more realistic rotations for out down lineman and skill positions--because we all know auto-sub sliders are not the best.

I have been seeing lots of things saying formation subs will be in CFB 26.
