Most of what has been adjusted just feels like patch level changes that were purposely held back from 25 to justify talking points for 26.
I 100% think this is what was done with coach points. This seems like the easiest thing to do to change in a patch for the previous game. But not only did they double them for the next game, they included a preorder bonus that allows you to get 10% more on top of that. This is simply shady as hell.
NCAA 14 was extremely compelling and felt like an actual carousel as jobs were taken and rotated through in real time, forcing you to take a chance or miss out. The current system, unchanged from 25, is totally stagnant. There are too few options offered and I can’t select other schools that are open. If I'm good enough to get Ohio State, I should be able to select Bowling Green if it's open.
This also applies the other way around. If I'm a head coach, I should be able to select who I want to try and recruit for open coordinator spots. I made a thread about this, but why, when I'm trying to bring in Elite Recruiter coordinators to take advantage of the CEO "Bundle Discount" ability, does my school have a preference for "Architects" and I can't just change or or just recruit any coordinator with the skills that I want?
I understand that some leeway needs to be given to EA because they are locked into one year development timelines (which shows up BIG TIME when they release with bugs like the "can't snap the ball" bug which I 100% don't think it is credible that they didn't know about and release anyway given just how widespread that bug was) but it is annoying that two years in, we're still trying to reach feature parity with the EA College Football 2014 version.

Yea, I'm not even sure what is really driving the type of coach a team is looking for... Architect, Tactician, CEO, etc. It kind of annoys me when a job at my "level" opens but I get passed over because I have the wrong archetype. I agree that you should be able to basically search through every coach in the game and offer them so you can build a staff. I tried to update my original post, but I'd also like to see the introduction of both a "Scout" and a "Strength" coach (non-playable).
- Scouts would basically give you perks in recruiting and allow more information about ratings/traits to be auto unlocked when adding players to your recruiting board. I'd almost prefer if the "scouting" system AKA clicking a bunch of times to reveal ratings were entirely tied to the Scout you hired and taken out of your control. You could even have stacking of their abilities if they have ties to your recruiting pipelines and they could specialize in a position group, giving them even more perks when going after QBs or WRs for example.
- Strength coaches would directly effect the ratings boosts your team receives in an offseason and have a minor effect on players recruited if they have a Dealbreaker like "Pro Potential". The idea being that the better the Strength coach, the bigger multiplier you get for recruits looking to go pro.
