QB scrabbling

I am addressing an ongoing issue regarding our defense's approach to scrambling quarterbacks. It has been a consistent problem over the past few years that the defense does not actively pursue the quarterback until they have already reached the first down or scored a touchdown, even when defenders are only a few steps away. Could we please look into fixing this defensive strategy and addressing the issue as soon as possible
