SERVER CONNECTION FAILED

I suddently started to get this message and can't access the game anymore.

I tried to reinstall, to clear the cache, to clear the app data and it still happening. 

It has been like that for couple days now, my internet connection (4g) works as usual. 

What should I do to fix it?

  • I get exactly the same. Really frequently in the last few days. Highly annoyingly I seem to have lost a match that I never started :-(

    Also, when things go wrong, previous "restart game" would have restarted the game but it doesn't anymore.

  • Hey @Sorolei thanks for reaching out. I've seen this pop up before and it's usually fixed by reinstalling. Do you have your account linked in some way? Either to email, Facebook or Google Play Games? If so, I'd try uinstalling the game, restarting your device and then installing the game again. If that doesn't work let me know. Do you happen to know your Persona ID? a 13 digit number found in Settings > About. Or your in game name?

    @MatJaggard thanks for reaching out too. Your issue looks a little different, can you tell me how often this occurs? Have you tried clearing your cache recently and see if that helps?

    same problem iphone promax and ipad pro in ios 13 cant connect to ea servers

    Worst game ever - match pairing is heavily skewed, the few matches I am able to complete without being kicked out due to network lag are so lopsided there is no competition. The chronic network issues make it difficult to react to the match let alone compete.
    Not what I expect from EA. I certainly hope this garbage does not find its way into the C&C remastered that I pre purchased.

    To be fair, the issues can be on EA's end (on their servers), but they can also be on the player's end. I noticed this very heavily when I upgraded to a good, expensive Wifi router. Ever since then, connection problems are down to a minimum for me.

    If the problem is on your end then EA cannot fix it. What they should do though is to state the requirements that need to be fullfilled to play this game without problems. As in, which latency and which bandwidth is needed. That they won't give out such information is pretty dumb.

    It is now the 28th of January 2022 and I'm still having this problem too. I have stopped playing for over a year because of it (and started getting into chess instead). I still watch the occasional 13lade YouTube uploads so I'd still really like to play this game. I have a feeling it's got to do with support for the game. I live in Cabo Verde, which probably has a population of Rivals players in the single digits. The point is, I have a feeling there is no server support here because there's no market for it here. Is this true? I have tried installing and uninstalling the game on several different devices with the same problem. I've got a feeling the only way for this to work is to go through a VPN. I've played since 2018 though and leveled up fairly high and I'd really like to get back into it. If there's anyone out there that can flip a switch and make it work, I'd be grateful! But perhaps the problem is on my end, I don't know.
