Chapter 12 Marker Softlock Bug

Hi all, just reaching out to see if I can salvage this impossible run.

Backstory behind this is, I got all the way to then end of chapter 12 at the last cargo door between the marker and the pedestal. Cleared the pedestal room and my game crashed. No big deal, reloaded my save and did the room again, but this time the cargo doors refused to open and the marker stayed put.

Clearing the room lets me press the bridge control button but nothing happens when I do. Also, when I reload the save, I can press the button to open the cargo doors but nothing happens either.

I believe this might've been caused by me saving almost immediately after pressing the open cargo doors button, maybe causing an error in the games scripting but I cant be 100% sure.

Since it's on Impossible difficulty i can't reload to a previous save so I'm kinda just hoping there's a workaround or a bug fix later. Thanks.

I had the same issue before the Power Junction room. Appears both of our saves are hard locked until a fix can be pushed out. Definitely think you're right about the save, happened when I pressed the button to move the marker and then IMMEDIATELY saved.

Although it's interesting that we have different bugs, I'm locked out of moving forward from an indefinite riglink with no access to the button that caused it. You bugged it on the set of doors after mine and still have access to the button, but the marker wont move. I assumed Nicole's dialogue just didn't trigger after my reload but if you still have access to your button, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to trigger it.

These doors are definitely * and will HARD LOCK saves for sure. Please fix devs, having it hard lock after 8+ hours is * brutal in impossible. Or at least give impossible saves the ability to roll back to the previous save. To clarify, this is also happening on SSDs, not just hard drives like other hard locks. cool, glad its not just me. and yeah, it is strange that I'm still able to interact with the buttons and progress but nothing happens. Was hoping I could counter-bug it and workaround but no luck. Hope this is fixed soon then.
