I experienced this bug on 1/27 about 10pm MST (I dont have a game ver for you so date/time suffices I hope). Difficulty: HardConsole: PS5 w/ disc Tech Proficiency: High I'm making my way through the Hydroponics lab, I kill weezer #5. There's a small room in the back of the lab, floor 1, with a save station. A lurker spawns and starts shooting at me. It kills me, seemingly just as an autosave goes off. The game reloads, I die immediately. The game reloads again, I'm spamming the options button. I'm not able to get at a options menu, I die immediately. Now I'm stuck in this loop. I completely close the game via the PS5 Switcher, reload it. As the Electronic Arts logo flashes on the screen, I hear the "flatline sound", kicks to Isaac immediately dying, load screen. I close again via the Switcher, reload the game, and spam the options button. I am stuck forever in this deathloop.The only way I can find to play my game is to delete my save files. This is catastrophic on PS5 because I can't select the individual saves to delete. The only option I have is to delete all Dead Space data. I'm going to have to delete everything to even be able to play the game. Starting over from scratch because the games fantastic but my goodness this problem is *bad*. Yep same here, this seems like such an obvious oversight. Was literally finishing the game and now I have to start all over.

This is on an Xbox Series X, I have encountered a problem where I used a save station as an enemy I didn’t hear or see was approaching, and now it insta-kills me before the loading screen fades. This is on medium difficulty in chapter 10, a little bit after the zero-g ball. I cannot open any form of menu, so I also cannot load any previous save. Loading in after quitting the game doesn’t change this at all. It would be nice if I could actually finish this game and not just be stuck in this one death-loop for eternity, even if I have lose 10-15 minutes of progress, but I don’t want to lose 10-15 hours of progress.

Had to completely delete & uninstall to get it to stop. But I lost all my progress & had to restart from the beginning. I want them to either discount me or refund it 😡

This just happened to me today and I thought I was the only one. Stuck in deathloop on chapter 4 medium difficulty.

An auto save happened while I was dying I guess and now I’m stuck in a deathloop. Please give us a main menu dev so I don’t have to delete my save data.

I died walking through a door and the game autosaved. It now loads the save and I can hear the audio of the main character dieing but I can only see the loading screen. It's just stuck on a loop.
Same thing happens when I launch the game it loads the last save and gets stuck in the loop with audio or the death sequence. I can't pause it or access the menu to load another save. ☹️

Okay there’s a way out of it but it’s a pain.
Important steps to follow:
Requires disconnecting controller after seeing the epilepsy warning and make sure you don’t have a bluetooth headset connected because it will make the ps5 overlay stick.
Whenever you fail the attempt you’ll need to close the application and begin again.
I was able to get out of the death loop by disconnecting the controller, reconnecting ~3 seconds after hearing the flatlining sound, and pressing X right before being able to see the message “your controller is disconnected.”
If done correctly you will see the menu and be able to scroll down to load game. Be aware not to select the main menu option like I did or you’ll be thrown back into the death loop again.
It took me like 100 tries to get it right but it works and is easy after you get used to the strict timing.
This is my version of the fix. The YouTuber who originally found it is “Eggs and Beans Reviews”

I was apparently killed just before an auto-save and now the game just cycles through loading the death and repeating. Tried deleting local storage, but no luck. Tried removing Quick-Resume for the game, but no luck.
Totally stuck :0(
