I have come to the conclusion that once you load into the game , dualsense controller will work with the correct buttons however the game does not support any vibration. This forces those who want vibrations to use third party programs that emulates an xbox controller. Hopefully you can communicate with the team to look into adding dualsense features.
Thanks all.

Why are their no dualsense features like adaptive triggers or haptic feedback on PC? Like what is the actual reason don't just answer "dualsense haptic feedback is not supported on windows for deadspace" when lots of other EA games have it. Will there be a patch or not?

They simply don't care

Why not though? There are third party games like star wars squadron from this studio that support it? What was the reason you can't expect to just say they are not supported like that is a real answer.
Currently, I have the same issue.
I tried with my PS4 and PS5 controller with USB through EA play, and they all detected well through Device manager. and they work well for basic gameplay control, except the vibration.
I'm not expecting Dualshock-specific functions, just the good old controller vibration. But so far non of my controller shown any vibration in any circumstances.

@CharleAllenSu, controller-specific functions (like Haptic feedback) and a completely malfunctioning controller are two different things. Please keep the threads separated. Thanks.
@battle_swagger45, can you check if the PC is detecting the controller via your Device Manager? I tried both wireless and wired, the game detects both but doesnt work
Steam version of the dead space lacks tactile feedback and adaptive trigger function supporting dualsense!
Many games on PC platforms now support the adaptive trigger function of dualsense. Because many players have PCs with better performance than PS5. However, we still want to experience the native handle functions on the PS5 platform, such as tactile feedback and adaptive trigger. I hope you can consider these features in the update. After all, ea's works are perfect works of art made by advanced technology, not the semi-finished products like The Callisto Protocol.
He means that there is no problem with the basic game function, but he wants to experience the tactile feedback and adaptive trigger of the PS5 terminal on the PC. Now many cross-platform games support adaptive trigger on the PC. I hope you can provide an update to support these functions. We will be very grateful.

@Philfycasual, that is indeed the reason why I specifically asked if it is the controller in general or only some specific features. 🙂 I assume that you mean this thread?
@battle_swagger45, are you trying to use it wirelessly, or via the original USB-C cable?
