I got the Dead Space Remake, but the game is unplayable on PC. The keyboard as well as the mouse are not responsive. Its a terrible experience. I have to press a key 5 or six times even to navigate at the menu!!! Tried to reinstall and clear app cashe, but nothing worked... ☹️
First time I have such a bad experience as the PC I am using is a capable 7800X3d/ RTX4090..
Community Manager@hkoim_x Unresponsive controls rarely have anything to do with the specs you listed. Having an RTX4090 has no actual bearing on game controls themselves. That is more related to a bad update, install file, corrupted profile or the PC isn't registering correctly if you are using a controller or keyboard.
Which platform are you playing the game through currently that has the issue?
What steps have you performed to try to get the game to work?

Its windows 11 PRO.. Latest updates (23H2)!
I have reinstalled the game.. Didn't work.
I tried with both Keyboard mouse as well will a Xbox Controller. Nothing works ☹️
In all the other games, everything works as expected!
Any Ideas?

I have the same issue and did basically the same too. The game runs smoothly but the controls are unresponsive using keyboard, mouse or xbox series controller. I have launched the game through Xbox/ PC game pass, EA app or Nvidia Geforce experience. I also tried to repair the game through the EA app but nothing.
I use the EA app since a couple of months now and I tried to run dead space with this launcher only.
For the record...At my PC I used to have the Origin app. I uninstalled it and then installed the EA app.
Community Manager@o0Yoshino0o I have it on the Xbox App using Game Pass so I'm testing it now. Do you have the Game/Xbox app/EA app all installed on the same drive? I ask because of the file locations directory is the same for all of the settings files.
I have also unplugged everything other than mouse and keyboard and using a wired Xbox Series X controller to play. One thing I did notice is that the controller needs to be on before I launch the game or app or I get an error.
