I have identified the cause: HDR enabled in game. I have a LG C1 display, using HDR via Windows 11. When HDR is enabled, it is as you've seen in my previous post. If I disable HDR in game and turn it off in Windows, no issues.
That's going to need a fix on the game side.
Embarrassingly, I posted to soon. While this over doubled the time before degradation, it did eventually happen. This is not a fix.
