Stasis Door 2 glitch

I just got DSR and have not been able to complete Chapter 2 because the Stasis Glove does not appear to be working on doors.
I know that the gloves work because I can move and throw other stuff. Just can't keep that damn door from opening and closing ☹️
I know it can be done because I see all the walkthrough videos do it (esp MKIceandFire)

    The issue has been resolved. Somehow the key mapping got altered so it was not the default button. Thank you for your response.

    Are you using an internal or external drive?
    Are you using an HDD or SSD?
    Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?
    Is anything else happening?
