Am I the only one still having this problem? Got the December patch. Have it on ps3. After 40 or so hours of gameplay, I can't go any further, because I've done all of the missions in the places where it doesn't freeze or crash. Have lots left to do in the Hinterlands and Crestwood, but both freeze or crash after I try to talk to somebody or complete a mission, and sometimes Crestwood does it for no reason. Have 20 power points, but the game crashes every time I leave the war council, so I can't go anywhere else, either. Have deleted as much as I can off of my system, including all demos and unnecessary save files, but it does no good. I played the game before and after the patch, and it seems to have made no difference. Does anyone have any advice?

They aren't responding because they've dropped support for it on PS3/360. In short, "buy next gen, scum!". They've got our money now, so why care about us?This I don't mind so much in theory. PS3/360 are last gen and they're trying to phase them out. I understand that I'm still using an irrelevant system that's lucky to still get support in the first place. The problem I see is that if you ARE going to release on an older system, at least have the common courtesy to make sure the horde of issues either don't exist or you support the game long enough to fix these issues. It's disgusting. If they can't be bothered to fix the issues and give the older consoles a fully working products then they shouldn't have released these versions in the first place.Again, I'm fine with support being dropped on older consoles, but at least drop it AFTER the game is in a fully working state.

It's a great game--when it works--but it's one of the five most broken games I've ever played & I've been gaming since Intellivision...

How come no one is responding to this issue? And I also experience the same issue as these 2 people do.

Selecting an answer and keep moving, from saving then freeze, Crashing while loading. And now, I go home turn on my PS3, continue my load of the game and my adventure stay there.... on the loading screen.... I bought it from PSN, having a patience time download and install it, and having no problem playing it on the first time, then the glitch started, the lag.... and now I can't even play it... can anybody help?😕mileysad:

I was having the same problem. I decided to perform a full format of the HD and reinstall everything. Since then, there have been no crashes and save times are twice as fast.

Make sure you back up your current game saves. Performing a full format erases everything and take a long time (18 hours for my 320GB system). I suggest doing this before bed when you have to be at work the next day.

Anyway, after setting up the PS3 again and installing everything, all ran smoothly.

there should be no need to have to reformat your hard drive just for buying a new game and trying to play it! there has to be another way.

My game froze on loading screen too while I was exploring Hinterlands. I tried to start the game about 5 times but it always kept on freezing in the loading screen so I loaded my previous save (Skyhold) and now it works. I'm not sure if I dare to travel to Hinterlands again, so please, try to fix this issue.

Played it today after 4 mounths.....same crashes, same bugs. The game was 70€ same as the ps4 version and sadly they robbed us. It's garbage for ps3.
This is the only game that I bought, that have so many issues.
I want my money back!

My problems are not quite that bad. The loading times are insane and the game crashes a ton. Rarely the game glitches out and you can't progress with a quest. It feels like most of my time playing is watching the loading screen.. When I finally do get to play it seems like the areas are designed so you can't get to your quest markers by going towards them. The answer to this seems to be to take the path of least resistance to go anywhere and eventually you will end up where you want to be. Interacting with the game in its current state does not feel like play.
