Got banned on Steam forums at Dragon Age Veilguard for defending the game

So, I went over to the forums today to look for something interesting to discuss about the game. To my surprise, the anti-woke movement is still going at it hard, there. So, what I did was I decided to go into a thread and post these exact words, "You are only complaining about the game because you support Kamala Harris." 

A moment later, after browsing through more threads, I received a message saying that the game developer's moderators of that forum have permanently banned me. The reason for the ban? An empty text box. No reason at all. They ban me because they felt like it. All I did was defend the game from being canceled and I got a permanent ban in return.

Now, I am in the process of appealing this ban.
