Thank you, so below is what i pulled from your DxDiag and steps to take for this one. Keep in mind that even with AMD, the game still uses Nvidia drivers for programs like PhysX, you will see some of the steps for that sometimes as well. Most errors revolved around your GPU drivers so i would do a fresh install of them.

    Fault bucket 1789512725914520914, type 5
    Fault bucket LKD_0x141_Tdr:C_IMAGE_amdkmdag.sys-OC-HWS
    Event Name: LiveKernelEvent
    Fault bucket 2004558867913487741, type 5
    Event Name: BEX64
    Faulting Module: amdkmdag.sys

    Troubleshooting steps
Run the System File Checker tool
    Check for Windows Updates
    Check for GPU updates
Install/Repair your VC++ files for the game (Microsoft VC++ Link)
    Download NVIDIA PhysX System Software
    DirectX update

I'll leave you a link to my post from 2 days ago :

    DirectX error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED | EA Forums - 5051490

I tried the solutions you provided bellow but to no avail (full list of ideas/attempts in my post)

This does not seem a case-by-case issue as I easily found this problem dating back from the end of last year.

    Hopefully something can be done

    Previous thread!
I am having the same issue as many others since I got this game. I play the game on Steam and after 1h the game freezes and crashes with the error I quoted in the title (please see image attached as well). I run other heavy games on max settings with no issues (Starfield for example). I have tried various solutions quoted around the internet :

    • Reinstalling game (clean install)
    • Checking updates (nvidia, bios, directX, windows)
    • Reinstalled nvidia driver (It can retrieve my game settings no matter how many times I reinstall)
    • Forced system to use GPU and not handle automatically as it sees fit
    • Verified game files

I just bought my PC this month and it is spec'ed to play this game at ultra with no issues (which it does except for the crashes).

The game is really good but I am losing my drive to play as the crashes just kill the moment every time.

Looking online this issues has been reported as far back as last November. What is the cause of this issue?

I removed the other one and just added the info here.

The reason it is case-by-case is that although the initial error itself is the same error, the cause is not the same because not every PC is the same. Some people have Nvidia, others have AMD, some use Radeon, and some do not.

What matters is that the game itself uses the same program and files from PhysX and Nvidia regardless of the GPU that you use.

So for your file, the following are the errors pulled from the file.

    Fault bucket 1789512725914520914, type 5
    Event Name: RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64
    Faulting Application: Discord.exe

    Fault bucket 2004558867913487741, type 5
    Event Name: BEX64
    Faulting Application: Radeonsoftware.exe
    Faulting Module: ucrtbase.dll

    LiveKernelEvent - LKD_0x141_Tdr:C_IMAGE_amdkmdag.sys-OC-HWS
    Faulting Module: amdkmdag.sys
    Driver Involved: AMD GPU driver

    Multiple Instances of LiveKernelEvent
    Faulting Module: amdkmdag.sys
Description: Critical GPU-related events with varied IDs.

    Troubleshooting steps

    For Discord.exe (RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64)
Update Discord to the latest version.
Close unnecessary background applications to free memory.
Ensure all Windows updates are installed.
If the issue persists, reinstall Discord.

    For Radeonsoftware.exe (BEX64)
Reinstall or repair the AMD Radeon software suite.
Update the Visual C++ Redistributable package (specific to ucrtbase.dll errors).
Perform a clean installation of the GPU drivers using AMD's Cleanup Utility.

    For LiveKernelEvent (amdkmdag.sys)
Update AMD GPU drivers to the latest stable release.
Run a hardware diagnostic to ensure your GPU is functioning properly.
Reduce GPU overclocking if enabled, or revert to factory settings.
Monitor GPU temperatures during load; ensure adequate cooling.

Thank you for the rapid reply.

Apologies but I cannot understand the response. I do not have Discord installed (never used it and I do not stream) and my GPU is a NVIDIA Gforce 4070 super and I cannot find any program related to Radeonsoftware.exe.

Regarding your last point : I imagine you mean Nvidia? I did a fresh install of the Nvidia app and drivers with the PC shop as well as the latest BIOS update. They checked quite a few others things too (power, BIOS settings). The PC is not even a month old and it is not changed (no overclocking or fine tuning).

Someone did at one point as those logs are directly from your system. You can always just uninstall it if you see it installed, or get a registry cleaner to clean out old files and get rid of it.

When you did the fresh install, did you manually install Direct X, and Install/Repair your VC++ files for the game (Microsoft VC++ Link

Or, did these install when you started installing games? Most games auto-check for it. You can run another DxDiag and attach it, but unless that file is from your old Windows install, ID needs a new one to check those logs.

Your next option would be to repair Windows, your SSD, or your HDD.

The only time a fresh install of Nvidia drivers is a true fresh install is a Windows reformat, or the fresh install option when you update the GPU drivers and delete them from the hard drive manually.

    Hi there
    Apologies for the late reply.

Maybe the technician that build my PC at the store?

All direct X installs where done via the games. I did nothing but update the nvidia driver. For the VC++ files are they linked only to Origin installs? I play exclusively on Steam.

I've attached another dxdiag to be sure. I tried looking for the errors you cited linked to Discord and Radeon but could not find it in there. Maybe i'm not looking correctly.

I checked for Windows updated again this weekend and had a .net framework and cumulative update for windows but sadly the game still has the same issue.

I'll await your answer regarding the dxdiag file before going ahead with any of the more "heavy" repairs you suggested.

    Many thanks
