Thank you for those who added their report ID. I forwarded that info to the team so that they could take a look and see what they can find.
From what I see, this doesn't seem to be a "game" issue, but it is more of an "account" issue on the backend. That is what I am getting verified.Once they give me word, I will let you know.

Yeah I had my suspicions on that, sounds like we may be getting closer to the cause of it.

wexxam You are most welcome. We have all tested it to see what the issue is. I updated the team on everything I could find. Hopefully, they can get it resolved on our end.

If the issue impacting in-game access to the newest DLC is the same issue that affected some people's ability to access the preorder and deluxe edition content, then there are likely more people affected. Unfortunately, a number of people who previously reported issues with the preorder and deluxe edition DLC haven't been active on the forums in months, so it's impossible to say whether their issues are resolved or they gave up, not to mention anyone who didn't visit the forums and instead contacted EA Help. Anecdotally, I haven't seen any reports from PC users who encountered this issue on Steam, just EA app.
E.g., here are some PC (or unreported platform) users who previously reported an inability to access DLC (preorder and/or deluxe edition content): Aurali_slp, Cocostarfish69, dannyyg69, DariusLupus, HALO_Project, kdarnell2, MadVic17, moxiegraphix, Naeramarth, wierzba25, and zazou2801
On Xbox, there are at least two separate issues. 1) People who bought physical (disc) copies of the game, but didn't receive DLC codes. This probably should be resolved by the vendors. 2) People who bought the game digitally on the Xbox Games Store but who couldn't access the DLC they were entitled to with their purchases.
E.g., here are a couple of Xbox users who previously reported an inability to access DLC (preorder and/or deluxe edition content) whose reports sound similar to the issues encountered by PC (EA app) users: czarinakyra and reneelake83

wexxam I am waiting for an update this morning. Being the weekend, things are slowed down, so hopefully, I will hear soon about what the cause is. It doesn't seem to be affecting everyone, as a few of us have tested it.

Cantiras I appreciate the info here. You are spot on. From what I have seen, the pre-order and deluxe issues are different. I confirmed that the free DLC being claimed on an account was tested and reproduced on accounts that pre-ordered and did not.
What I am waiting on now is for some folks to test the EA app, and look at logs.
The main players who are claiming it are in the EA app not consoles so I sent it to a few others to look at the EA app side too. - wexxam4 months agoSeasoned Ace
That's good to know, so you guys were able to replicate the issue?
And if they were to fix it do you think it would retroactively unlock within our current save files or would we have to start a new playthrough?
I'm almost finished my first playthrough and I'm having a blast so won't mind playing all over again, but it would be good if my OG Rook could wear his Blood Dragon armor 😁

wexxam Theoretically, it should unlock in your current one and the new one. It should work as if I just added content to your account since it may not be something that needs to be "patched" as it does not seem to be the game itself but the EA account. I could be wrong, but I don't believe this is a patch-needed issue.
