Fire and ice softlock

Hey so I just beat fire and ice for the 3rd time and the cutscene thats supposed to play doesn't trigger. Just leaves me at the lighthouse. I know that its related to regrets of the dreadwolf from what ive researched, problem is I made progress in it from the start of the game and am now 50 hrs in. Is there any other method of fixing this besides just starting over?
