Hey there!
We are following up on the game and reported issues. Are you still having any issues? Let us know if you need any assistance.
Thanks!

I am having the same issue. The PS5 hard crashes to the point where I need to turn the power off at the wall for several seconds before it restarts. Sometimes I can play for an hour, sometimes for just 10 minutes. This seems to have been an issue since launch for a lot of people but has not been addressed. I have to refund as it is unplayable

Unfortunately, yes, it has been a thing for a while as you can see on the PS5 Hard Crash search.
This one is tough because it isn't always the same issue causing it, but modifying certain options in the settings has helped. - fe1c23d8341a34c84 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
The a is for the reply.
Yes I’m still having major issues with crashing while playing the game. I’ve reinstalled the game and found no change. The crashes happen at indeterminate intervals. Sometimes I can go an hour or two and it’s ok but others it can crash 5-6 times on a run within minutes or even as soon as the game loads a save point.

Have you changed any of the settings in the game? PS5 is a hard one as there are only so many steps you can take. I play on PS5 as well, but there are no crashes, so when it's local like this, it's typically something to do with corrupted data.
So you have a few options for PS5
- Manage your downloadable content (DLC) on PlayStation
- Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
- Verify you signed into your PSN account
- Check for updates
- Restore Licence
- Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database.
- Graphics Settings:
- Set Performance Mode: Switch to a performance-focused mode (if available in the settings) to reduce strain on the system. This usually limits resolution to 1080p and prioritizes frame rates, which may help with stability.
- Lower Visual Effects: If the game allows you to toggle effects like motion blur, depth of field, or particle density, consider lowering or disabling these options.
- Limit Auto-Saves:
- If there’s an option to reduce the frequency of auto-saves, it might help. Frequent auto-saves can sometimes trigger crashes, especially in resource-intensive areas.

Hi,
I’m just not bothering to play it now tbh.
The problems never went away - crashing, loading, crashing , loading. Sent so many bug reports. Very disappointed.
